Leverkusen challenges as a replacement?
Timo Baumgartl is about to take off again just a year after moving from VfB Stuttgart to PSV Eindhoven. According to information from the Dutch magazine “Voetbal International” and “Eindhovens Dagblad”, the 24-year-old will move to Fulham.
According to the report, Baumgartl, who still has a contract with PSV until 2024, is on loan from the “Cottagers” for one year. The Premier League climber also secured a purchase option.

Baumgartl has played 22 competitive matches for Eindhoven so far (two goals), but is only a reserve under new manager Roger Schmidt. The central defender was disappointed by the lack of prospects and therefore decided to move.
Replacement of former VfB professional Baumgartl: PSV interested in Bayer Retsos
According to Greek media reports, PSV is seeking to replace Baumgartl with Panagiotis Retsos (22) from Bayer 04 Leverkusen. However, Retsos should have more inquiries, such as AS Saint-Étienne, a Ligue 1 club, which is interested in a loan with an option to buy.
