Bayern sign Roca from Espanyol Barcelona

According to the Spanish newspaper “Sport”, FC Bayern signed junior international Marc Roca from Espanyol Barcelona. Consequently, the 23-year-old defensive midfielder is awarded a four-year contract in Munich and costs the German champion a transfer fee of 15 million euros. More bonus payments could be added. The medical check-up is still pending.

“Sky” also informs about the next transfer. According to the broadcaster, the transfer fee, including all bonus payments, is 15 million euros, the basic amount is 9 million euros. The working document, which runs through 2024, also includes an option for one more year. Roca has already left training at Espanyol and for the next match at CE Sabadell. According to the newspaper “Mundo Deportivo”, the Catalans want to make their farewell public on Monday.

Update 1:24 pm: According to Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Roca has already arrived in Munich. There he is supposed to do his medical checkup on Saturday afternoon.
