The awards ceremony had already drawn criticism from the comedy scene beforehand, as only men were nominated in various categories. The fact that the category of “best female comedy podcasters” was introduced on short notice did not improve the problem.
Other award winners included “Heute Show” (ZDF) for “Best Satire Show” and “The Martina Hill Show” (Saturday 1st) for “Best Comedy Sketch.”
