After the Champions League, the Europa League groups were drawn at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon on Friday afternoon. After the elimination of VfL Wolfsburg, the two remaining German participants, Bayer 04 Leverkusen and TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, caught feasible groups.

In Group C, “Werkself” will face Slavia Prague from the Czech Republic, Hapoel Beer Sheva from Israel and OGC Nice from France. Kraichgauer have to beat KAA Gent from Belgium, Roter Stern Belgrade from Serbia and Slovan Liberec from the Czech Republic in Group L.

The Europa League group stage matches will be played on October 22 and 29, November 5 and 26, and December 3 and 10. Due to the corona pandemic, the games may also be postponed. The final in Gdansk, Poland, is scheduled for May 26, 2021.
