Beate Sander is dead.

At the age of 82, the equity expert passed away today after a long and serious illness. In the end, he fell asleep peacefully, according to his family.

Sander dedicated her life to the stock market, published numerous books, and became a best-selling author. In her BILD column, as the “grandmother of the stock market,” she gave valuable advice on asset accumulation to equity beginners and professionals for four years.

A total of 224 columns were written about the weather, the last of them in the nights before his death. In all these years there has not been a week where I did not send a text message. Not even during his first cancer.

His notoriety increased with age. In the end, the “grandmother of the stock market” was a brand: both young and old readers were enthusiastic about stock issues through his texts. The woman behind the brand was trustworthy, pragmatic, and most of all, one thing: a proud woman who took great pleasure in passing on her knowledge.

Until his death, Sander spent every day lecturing, writing columns, and working on a book to the end.

Beate Sander leaves behind two children and five grandchildren. The BILD editorial team bows to the achievement of a lifetime. We will miss you.
