FSV Mainz 05 has parted ways with coach Achim Beierlorzer.
Two days after the 1: 4 defeat against VfB Stuttgart, the Bundesliga team officially announced the split. It is not yet clear who will be Beierlorzer’s long-term successor. Initially, co-coach Jan-Moritz Lichte will take over until further notice.
