An explosion shook the old town of Neustrelitz (Meck.-Pom). Flames erupted from the attic of a half-timbered house. Firefighters were able to save tenant Axel G. († 55) alive. But he died in a clinic. The latest dramatic chapter in a tragedy that began with the TV show “Schwer am mad.”

Axel G.’s wife, Laura, separated from him two weeks ago, according to information from BILD am SONNTAG. The young geriatric nurse and the former computer specialist had just got married in the summer of 2019.
But then Axel G. took more and more drugs, became uncontrollable and violent. After a crazy discussion about his glasses, which Laura was supposed to have hidden, the police had to move so Laura could leave the apartment.

Laura returned to her homeland Idar-Oberstein (Rhineland-Palatinate). For fear of Axel G., who has already worked in psychiatry and in prison.
Years ago, Axel G. had become famous in a sad way, through his relationship with Sarah H. († 32), who had become something of a star on the Sat.1 dome show “Schwerliebbt”.
As a fan of Barbie dolls in 2011, Sarah was looking for love in life and unwittingly amused millions of viewers. With Axel G. Sarah believed that she had finally found happiness. A deadly mistake.
Like his future wife Laura, Sarah H. came from Idar-Oberstein. An argument with Sarah also escalated when he accused her of hiding her glasses. In June 2016, he handcuffed Sarah naked to the bed and spanked her for two excruciating hours. Sarah later died, Axel G. packed and tied up the body and lived with the dead in the house for weeks.

In 2017, the Neuruppin District Court sentenced him to five years for bodily injury that resulted in death. But the Federal Court of Justice granted the sentence.
At the retrial, Axel G., who was less guilty, got away with a small fine in June 2020 for bodily injury. It cannot be proven that the torture led to Sarah’s death.

More recently, he made the living of his neighbors in Neustrelitz. He threatened, kicked doors and cars, stole electricity, and the police kept coming. “We couldn’t sleep through the night. She screamed all day. Today she ran with the hunting knife, ”Lea Seiffert told BILD am SONNTAG. Like the other tenants of the apartment building, the police student lost her house.

January 2016: Sarah seeks help from the neighbors, says she was kidnapped and is forced to swallow pills. Several times he flees to the women’s shelter.
June 2016: Neighbors hear screams from Axel G.’s house Annoyed by many police operations, they do not react.
August 2016: Four policemen dominate the naked trombonist. Sarah’s corpse lies in the bathroom of the shattered house.
