In April 2016, several high-profile security experts met at the King Khalid Military City military base in Saudi Arabia. Then-US Secretary of State John Kerry had flown in to discuss the Yemen war during a dinner with confidants. However, an important figure was missing from the group, recalls a member of the US delegation: the contact for Western intelligence, General Saad Aljabri. Defense Minister Mohammed bin Salman, MbS for short, had previously fired him.
The firing, Aljabri’s New York attorneys now report, was the prelude to a worldwide “persecution” of his clients, which continues to this day. MbS ordered a team in Riyadh to appoint Major General a. D., who lives abroad today, to track down and “kill” “by all means”.

Aljabri, 61, has filed a complaint against MbS in the United States. 107 pages describe how the Crown Prince’s henchmen supposedly act. The search for Aljabri follows a pattern that is now known to the heir to the throne: MbS tries to remove any obstacles and people who could still keep their way to the top.
