According to initial information, the Renault skidded in the construction area and broke the central barrier. In oncoming traffic, the car collided with a BMW, it is said to have taken off and, after several rollovers, rose some 50 meters more.

For the two inmates, a man and a woman, any help came too late. They died at the scene of the accident. According to information from BZ, it is about a 37-year-old man and his wife (39). Both come from Ukraine and were heading to their place of residence in Poland.

Due to clean-up work, the A 11 between the Joachimsthal and Pfingstberg exits was completely closed in both directions.
