As reported by the “Rhein-Neckar-Zeitung” last week, Özdemir is on trial for assault. The Heidelberg district court is taking the 41-year-old to trial because Georgina denounced him.
Since November 2018, he is said to have beaten Georgina several times, once locked in the apartment, according to the newspaper’s court report. Now the businessman has to answer in four cases for bodily injury and deprivation of liberty, despite the fact that Georgina has withdrawn her complaint and states: “We love each other again, everything is fine again.”
