Returning travelers, neglect and more testing have led to a growing number of infections in Germany. If you look closely, you will discover strong regional differences that are currently changing significantly.
Across Germany, the daily number of new confirmed corona infections had recently increased. More than 1,000 new cases are reported each day, after just a few hundred a day in June. But not all regions of Germany are equally affected.
When analyzing data from individual rural and urban districts, there are strong regional differences, for example between East and West Germany. Over the course of the last three weeks, a surprising development could also be observed: the priorities of the crown have changed.
