As announced by the police, the 38-year-old woman was the victim of a fatal knife attack in Wolnzach in the district of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm on Wednesday morning.
Despite all the rescuers’ best efforts, he succumbed to his serious injuries at the scene.
A 40-year-old man who also lives in the home is allegedly a suspect. He has already been detained by the police.
At the moment, no further details of the crime can be revealed.
The Ingolstadt criminal police took over the investigations and forensic evidence at the scene.
As announced by the police, the suspect is a 40-year-old Slovak.
He lived with the woman who was murdered. The relationship between her and the suspect was not clear at first.
He declined to comment on the crime until evening and will be brought before a judge on Thursday.
