United States President Trump has traveled to Kenosha, at the heart of protests against racially motivated police violence. He did not meet with the victim’s family. Instead, he called the protests internal terror.

Actually, it is a great tradition in the United States for presidents to visit places where tragedies have occurred. Set an example and support and comfort those affected. In this case, US President Trump’s visit to Kenosha, Wisconsin, was not well received.
After the shooting of a policeman against the black Jacob Blake, there were violent protests against the police violence there. Local politicians feared the visit could further fuel the already heated atmosphere. But the president came anyway. Not to visit Jacob Blake’s family, but to thank the police.
“It’s an honor to be here in your great state of Wisconsin. A lot of people thought it would be good for him to come, some thought it was bad. I came to thank the police,” Trump said. at a press conference at a Kenosha high school.
“What you’ve done is amazing. It was inspiring. Because it happens everywhere and it just doesn’t seem to stop. Almost like some people don’t want it to stop.”
Trump Calls Protesters “National Terrorists”
By “that,” President Trump was referring to ongoing protests against police violence, which, for example in Portland, had escalated into violent clashes with Trump supporters. In Kenosha, a young Trump supporter shot two people and seriously wounded another on the sidelines of the protests.

President Trump used his visit to Kenosha to convey his campaign message. He once again ran as the toughest president and blamed the Democrats for the unrest.
