6,100 people infected with corona are now recovering in Hamburg.
The number of corona cases registered in Hamburg increased by 77 cases on Saturday. The health authority announced that 7,149 people have been infected with the new virus since the pandemic began. However, the total number only increased by 75 infections. According to the authority, two older cases have been removed from the statistics. According to estimates by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), around 6,100 infected people can now be considered recovered.
With 19 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days, Hamburg is further below the limit of 50 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in a week, the achievement of which could lead to further restrictions. On Thursday the value was 17.3.
Another death
After another death, the number of people who died from Covid-19 in the Hanseatic city rose to 238, according to the Institute of Forensic Medicine of the Hamburg-Eppendorf University Medical Center. 33 patients with Covid-19 were treated in Hamburg hospitals on Saturday, 9 of them in intensive care units.
