After a relatively quiet day, the Berlin police and the federal police had more to do on Saturday night. Even before curfew, there were various party resolutions.

For around 600 guests at a fetish party in Mitte, it probably ended unsatisfactorily. As the Berlin police tweeted, the event was cleared up by the Federal Police around 9:30 pm and the guests from the “Alte Münze” were sent home. However, initially 100 to 150 participants gathered in front of the entrance.

The law enforcement office issued various sanctions against the location operator for intentionally and massively violating Corona rules.

Shortly before, a celebration had broken up in Weißensee. There, officials found too many guests in a bar who also did not abide by existing hygiene rules and who were using drugs.

The day the Berlin police and the federal police had spoken of a positive balance. Around 80 to 90 percent of Berliners and guests wore mouth and nose protection and maintained required safety distances, according to a joint press release. Towards night, however, it was evident that the acceptance of wearing mouth and nose protection was visibly diminishing.
