Citizens who give false information about themselves in a restaurant or other inns should expect a minimum fine of 50 euros in the future.

According to information from the German Press Agency, the prime ministers of the federal states decided on Tuesday when they went to video with Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU).

In view of the persistently high number of infections with the coronavirus, no further opening steps should be allowed for now.

Especially in the cold season, two more letters should be added to the current “AHA” formula to maintain distance, hygiene and daily masks: “C” for Corona warning application and “L” for ventilation. “Regular ventilation in all public and private rooms can significantly reduce the risk of infection,” says a template.

So far, according to information from dpa, there have been no major differences of opinion on the change. However, there are likely to be differences when it comes to establishing the maximum number of participants for celebrations in public and private spaces.

Limit celebrations in public spaces to 50 participants

In view of the persistently high number of corona infections, the federal and state governments want to limit celebrations in public or rented rooms to a maximum of 50 participants. No more than 25 people should meet in private rooms.

This applies if there are more than 35 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in a district within seven days. The German Press Agency learned of the participants in the meeting between Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU) and state prime ministers on Tuesday.

Brandenburg Prime Minister Dietmar Woidke (SPD) announced this procedure on Tuesday evening.
