HSV celebrated a well deserved 2: 1 (1: 1) victory at Karlsruher SC. After the third successive success, the Hamburg second division soccer team is second in the Christmas holidays.

Once again in this series, forward Simon Terodde made the six-time champions happy. The 32-year-old scored the winning goal in the later stages. It was already the 14th “stand” of the 13th match of the veteran who arrived at the Elbe from 1. FC Köln last summer. “We created a lot of good chances and luckily we had someone in the 82nd minute who knows where the draw is,” said coach Daniel Thioune, pleased by her husband with the built-in goal guarantee. KSC coach Christian Eichner briefly described Terodde as a “machine”.

HSV continues on the road to success after the 2-1 victory in Karlsruhe. Guardian Sven Ulreich, who recorded the success, was happy with the three deserved. 1 minute

Jatta meets early and enthusiastically

HSV had previously had after two poor but technically successful football results in Darmstadt 98 (2: 1) and against SV Sandhausen (4: 0) at Wildpark Stadium presented itself in a much better way. Bakery Jatta, in particular, triumphed in its third starting eleven this season in the first section. At 180 seconds, the left-back advanced the guests after an irresistible single with a precise left-hand shot from 18 meters. Two minutes later, the 22-year-old missed KSC goalkeeper Marius Gersbeck, before he brought Jeremy Dudziak on the scene shortly after. Bitter for the supplier of templates and hamburgers that the all-rounder threw the ball over the crossbar (6th).

Vagnoman slips, Hofmann compensates

The Thioune-Elf could have led 3-0 after six minutes, but at least they should have been 2-0 ahead. Instead, the Hanseatic League soon after received compensation from the courted Philipp Hofmann. After right-back Josha Vagnoman slipped on the deep ground, the home team switched in an instant and carried the attacker out of a tree into final position. The former Brunswick defeated goalkeeper Sven Ulreich in the rain from Karlsruhe with a dry low shot (14th).

Terodde misses the post

HSV held steady despite surprising equalization at this point and initiated more attractive attacks. But neither Terodde (20th / place) nor Khaled Narey, who missed with a header at Gersbeck (26th), took advantage of their good chances. On the other hand, Hofmann, Werder Bremen yielded to Benjamin Goller and Malik Batmaz faced the Hamburg defense on several occasions with difficult tasks. However, Thioune’s team had the best chances in the first stage, so the manager could not be satisfied with the result at half-time.

HSV scores to victory

Even after the break, the two teams dueled at a good football level despite the difficult space conditions. The KSC was a bit more determined at first, but did not have clear leadership opportunities. HSV had their first outstanding opportunity in the second round through Vagnoman, who after a good combination did not measure accurately enough (62nd).

Afterwards, the game stirred a bit, like rain, until Karlsruhe’s left-back Philip Heise was sent off by referee Christof Günsch (Berlin) with a yellow-red (77th). It took the burgers only five minutes to turn their excess into something countable. Then substitute Sonny Kittel crossed over Terodde, which was successful by direct acceptance. The attacker’s 14th goal of the season was synonymous with decision. However, Hofmann had a chance to equalize shortly before the end – Ulreich avoided the 2-2 (90º + 3rd) with his chest.

Ulreich: “He made a good game”

“We are happy to have won and to have played a good game”, the guardian told the NDR. The table, added the former Bayern goalkeeper, still doesn’t make sense: “There are still a few days to play.”
