Around 10:40 p.m., a group of seven people, mostly children and teenagers, is said to have had an argument with a 45-year-old man. He pulled out a knife in the fray. After the attack, he fled the Berlin-Mitte park. Police are looking for a man with thinning hair and a gray beard.
The 13-year-old boy died at the scene despite resuscitation attempts. The 22-year-old was seriously injured in a hospital. The homicide squad is investigating.
