Fortnite Season 4 event cryptically plagued by Epic Games

Fortnite Season 4 is near, which means the plagues are starting to pick up. We already know that Season 4 will be Marvel-themed, similar to how Season 3 is at least partly DC-themed. And we know this will bring Thor, the X-Men, and more to the game. If you’re a Marvel fan, this will probably be the greatest season ever. If you’re not a Marvel fan, then all your eggs are in the season 4 season rate.

While season 4 will be Marvel themed, the event will be its own separate thing that is tied to the ongoing and evolving Fortnite storyline. And according to the game’s creative director, Donald Mustard, the story of the series is about to “kick into overdrive.” Furthermore, Mustard fans make sure everything is still connected.

Unfortunately, Mustard does not reveal any additional details, but he apparently passed the teasers elsewhere on his Twitter.

If you know Mustard, you will know that he will plague upcoming events through his Twitter page, in particular his location and sometimes even through his banner image. Right on cue, Mustard changed his location on Twitter today to “Close to zero.” Meanwhile, Mustard also changed his banner image into a comic book he wrote for Marvel, which includes Iron Man and Doctor Doom.

For now, this is where the plagues end, but White Mustard will have many more cryptic hints about what’s coming up on August 27th in the coming days.

Fortnite is available for free via PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and some mobile devices. It is also in development for PS5 and Xbox Series X and will be available on these platforms later this year.
