Epic Games has released Aquaman’s fifth and final core challenge in Fortnite, and an incredible item can catch you. The latter asks him to claim his Trident at Coral Cove to win his own Trident, but he also ties in with the larger challenge to unlock Aquaman skins. If you are a big fan of Aquaman, you will definitely want to do this. As long as you own the Season 3 Battle Pass, you can now take on this challenge for new rewards – here’s a guide on where Coral Cove is located and how to find the Trident once you get there. Where is Coral Cove?
Coral Cove is in the northwest section of the map – it’s a named landmark just northwest of Sweaty Sands and southwest of the great whirlpool. The Trident you need to acquire can be found on a rock in the middle of the water in this area: it is just north of a large boat and southeast of a small island. You can see the exact location of the Trident on the map below.
How to claim the trident?
Claiming the Trident is as simple as pressing and holding the Use button or key (although it takes a long time to pick it up, so beware of hostile players who hunt down challengers). Since the rock is right in the middle of the water, you should be able to see it as you fall from the battle bus. Just land on it and claim it before you get killed to complete the challenge.
What is the reward for completing the challenge?
Completing this challenge unlocks Åquaman’s Trident itself as a new harvesting tool option for you. Perhaps most importantly, it is also a step to unlock Aquaman’s skin, as you must complete all five challenges to do so. This being the fifth challenge, both the Aquaman mask and the alternate version (which requires completing a separate challenge: diving into the Gorgeous Gorge while wearing the Aquaman mask) are now unlockable.
