He said one of the reasons he chose to share his heartbreak right now is because of what he sees as a fundamental change on social media lately, likely largely fueled by movements like #MeToo and Black Lives Matter.
“I am so excited and encouraged by the way I see change on social media,” she wrote. “It changes from being a place where everyone shares the highlights of their life and now it is a place where people share the good and the bad: the smiles and the tears.”
She then broke down the detailed, graphic story of how she lost her baby, what happened one morning in her room.

“I was completely shocked when it happened,” she said. “And the total exhaustion that gripped my body in the next few days was almost debilitating.”
But the main reason she decided to share this story publicly was because of other women who have experienced this fight, or any fight involving the loss of a pregnancy.
“I am writing this post to inform other people who have experienced a pregnancy loss who know I see and feel you,” she said. “I know that my loss is not the same as someone who had a stillbirth or lost a baby at 20 weeks. Or someone who has been trying to conceive for years. But what surprised me so much about my experience is that it affected me a lot much more difficult than I could have imagined. “

“So I know that if you’re going through or have been through this, your feelings are valid, whatever they are,” she concluded, adding a hashtag for miscarriage.
Fedotowsky and her husband Kevin Manno share two children, Molly, 4, and Riley, 2. She started dating Manno in 2013, got engaged in September 2015, and got married on March 3, 2017.
A contestant on the sixth season of “The Bachelorette” a decade ago, Fedotowsky came out of her season engaged to Robert Martinez. They would end their engagement in November of the following year.
