Facebook is introducing dark mode for its desktop users. Dark mode helps users see less from the screen, improving eye health.
Facebook has launched a dark mode feature for its website worldwide. This feature was first announced at this year’s F8 conference.
Anyone accessing Facebook in a dark room knows the feel of the traditional all-white interface. It is almost as if the sun is inches from your face. Dark mode has become the standout feature of this redesign.
Dark mode helps users to reduce glare. This feature will be more comfortable for the eyes with contrast and vitality. It is more useful for users to use Facebook in low light conditions. Also, Facebook’s design has changed for a better viewing experience.
Facebook had done a lot of analysis before launching the dark mode feature. He had tested the innovation in October last year. This year, in March, I had chosen some users to use this new feature. After debugging queries and solving them, you have now released new features worldwide.
Redesign on Facebook includes users to quickly find tools like Facebook games, videos, and groups. The redesigned Facebook site will also load faster than the previous version.
To enable dark mode, go to the Settings option and select Enable dark mode from the dropdown option, but only for desktop users.
The Facebook blog post says “Facebook has released its new redesign for all users. This week we introduce the new Facebook.com. It’s faster, easier to use and gives your eyes a break with Dark Mode.”
