With the majority of cases reported in one day, the Lincoln Trail District Health Department reported 13 new cases of COVID-19 in LaRue County on Friday, October 2. Reporting of COVID-19 cases in schools across the state is now a requirement for all school districts, including LaRue County schools. As of the October 5 data report from the Kentucky Department of Education, LaRue County Schools reported a total of 9 active student cases and 3 active teacher cases. The school system is on fall break this week and will return on Monday, October 12.
