Call of Duty: Warzone patch fixes infinite pacing bug, again

The latest patch for Call of Duty: Warzone has taken care of the infinite stimulation exploit that resurfaced at the beginning of Season 1. The update also fixes a few other peripheral issues in the Battle Royale game.

Warzone developer Raven Software provided a list of all the major patch points at Twitter, starting with eliminating the ability to reuse tactical items over and over again. The maneuver allowed players to continue to regain their health using stimulation packs, meaning that someone could simply sit outside of the circle and constantly heal themselves while the remaining opponents were eventually killed by the shrinking safe area. The feat was repaired before, and since then rediscovered, hopefully for the last time.

Equipping Cold War weapon max tier accessories, players getting stuck accessing gear drops and unable to view the Match Summary screens or get the Season Challenge progression are some of the other fixes . Fixed a visual quirk of “Random Level Unlocks” so you can see the correct and fixed level where everything is unlocked.

Raven Software has been at a buggy disadvantage since the start of Season 1, an invisibility bug led to the attack helicopter being eliminated this week. With that said, given that the FPS game outperformed over 85 million players this year, it’s no wonder these unintended strategies are coming to the fore.

We’ve got guides to the top-notch builds for Warzone Season 1 and the best Warzone weapons, so you can stay on top of Verdansk and Rebirth regardless of what other players are trying.
