It is reported that the African Football Confederation (CAF) has decided to postpone the second leg of the Champions League semi-final between Zamalek and Raja Club Athletic, initially scheduled for Saturday.
Zamalek had beaten Raja Casablanca 1-0 at the Mohamed V Stadium in the first leg of the CAF Champions League semi-finals, with the second leg being played in Cairo on Saturday.
However, Raja issued a statement on Saturday announcing that two unidentified players tested positive for COVID-19, just one day before their first leg against Zamalek.
And two days later, the Moroccan giants announced that six new cases of the novel COVID-19 were discovered after a new round of testing.
Moroccan local health authorities ordered Raja not to travel due to the increase in the number of coronavirus cases.
According to beIN Sports, the match that was supposed to take place between Zamalek and Raja in Cairo has been postponed, with the new date set for October 31.
The report also insisted that the date of the final game of the competition will not change and remains on November 6.
