The actor shared a video message on his Instagram on Wednesday to reveal that he, his wife and their two young daughters have tested positive for the virus and are no longer contagious after a three-week battle.

The actor took to Instagram on Wednesday to reveal that he and his wife, Lauren, and their daughters Jasmine, 4, and Tiana, 2, contracted the virus after being with family friends. Although they have been ill, they feel better after almost three weeks. They contracted the virus from close family friends.
“I wanted to give you a helpful little update on things that have been going on for the past two and a half weeks or three. So the update is this: my wife Lauren and my two girls and I have all tested positive for COVID -19, “the actor said in a video message posted on his Instagram. “I could tell you that this has been one of the most challenging and difficult things that we have had to endure as a family, and for me, too, personally,” he said, adding that “he has been through some troubles in the. past. “
He went on to explain that testing positive for the virus is “very different from overcoming unpleasant injuries,” “being evicted,” or “being bankrupt,” which he says he has faced “more than a few times.” He explained that fighting the virus has been more personal because his priority is “always to protect my family. And to protect my children, my loved ones.”
“I wish it was just me who tested positive, but it wasn’t, it was my whole family, so this was a real kick in the stomach,” he said. “But I’m happy to tell you that we as a family are good. We are on the other end, we are on the other side. We are no longer contagious, and we are, thank God, we are healthy.” He added that his family has “overcome the COVID-19 stronger and healthier.”
Johnson recounted how her children had a sore throat in the first days of having the virus, but have “recovered” and now life has returned to normal with “happy babies running and playing.” However, Johnson admits that for him and his wife, the journey was “tougher” with COVID-19 and they became isolated as a family after testing positive.
Johnson also acknowledged that everyone has been affected by the virus in some way, whether it’s fighting the virus itself or having loved ones sick. “We are counting our blessings at this time because we are well aware that it is not always the case that the other side of COVID-19 will get stronger and healthier,” he said.
After contracting the virus from family friends, Johnson stressed that “these are people we love and trust, and these are people we still love and trust.” “They are devastated by the way they were the ones who picked it up. They have no idea where they picked it up. They are devastated that it led them to infect our family,” he shared.
She added that she understood the desire to see and be with loved ones, especially in tough times, but after contracting the virus, she now has extreme “discipline” with health and safety measures for the people she cares about, including promoting have people tested before visiting him and his family. The actor also emphasized the importance of wearing masks, adding that he is baffled by politicians who “will take this idea of wearing masks and turn it into a political agenda.” “It has nothing to do with politics,” Johnson said. “Put on your mask.
