Launch of the Huawei Watch Fit with heart rate monitor

NEW DELHI: smartphone maker Huawei has launched its latest smartwatch – Huawei clock setting in UAE. This is the company’s first smartwatch to come with a rectangular dial. The company has priced the smartwatch at AED 399 (roughly Rs 7,900) and it will be available for purchase in the region from September 3. The wearable comes in black, silver and gold watch boxes and four-color silicone straps.
The Huawei Watch Fit comes with a 1.4-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 280×456 pixels. The smartwatch offers 4GB internal storage and includes a heart rate and ambient light sensor. The smartwatch is also capable of offering alerts for SMS messages, incoming calls, and calendar applications. The device can also offer notifications from social media applications. Users can also use the smartwatch as a remote shutter or to control music. The wearable also includes functions such as alarm, timer and stopwatch.
The Huawei Watch Fit comes preloaded with six Always-On watch faces and users can download more watch faces from the Watch Face Store. The device also comes with 12 animated workouts including exercises such as the Full Body Stretch and Ab ripper, exercise at work, and more. The device also includes 44 standard motion demonstrations. The company has also incorporated 96 different training modes including 11 professional sports modes such as swimming, running and cycling.
Users can use the Huawei Health app to track their recorded fitness from the Watch Fit directly on their smartphone. The wearable is also waterproof and is compatible with Android 5.0 and iOS 9.0 devices. The company claims that the smartwatch can offer up to 10 days of battery backup with GPS mode off and 12 hours of battery backup with GPS mode on.
