Don’t forget to chat about the pooch in Ghostwire: Tokyo

Paranormal hijinks can wait

Shinji Mikami shared a brief update Ghostwire: Tokyo during the current QuakeCon at Home stream.

The city may miss most of its residents, but dogs still roam the streets – and you can talk to them completely. Even if the little kind is played out, it comes from a real place. I have to embrace it.

On a more existential note, Mikami commented on the “challenging times” we are in. He asked himself “why has it been so difficult lately, then I realized I’m in this sector for 30 years. I would rather not become a fossil in the gaming industry, so I will do my best to make a living , breathing to be fossil. “

For better or worse, Tango Gameworks’ supernatural action-adventure game is such a wildcard for me. The premise, setting, and unexpected framing of first people stand up and have tremendous potential, but I have a hard time understanding Ghostwire: Tokyo as a whole. I wonder if it clicks on pre-release completely – there is enough time for the launch of the PS5 and PC in 2021 – if we have to put it in our hands.

Mikami says she strives to make it “cooler and unique.”
