Dolphins up to an unsigned left selection

The Miami Dolphins now have less than a draft pick to sign after agreeing to the terms of the contract with cornerback Noah Igbinoghene, according to multiple reports.

Igbinoghene’s signing leaves second-round pick Robert Hunt, the Louisiana-Lafayette offensive lineman, alone as an unsigned draft.

Dolphins rookies are slated to report later this week, though the first four days will consist of two COVID-19 tests interspersed about two days from the team’s training facility, according to protocols agreed by the NFL and the Association. of NFL Players on Monday.

Igbinoghene was the third of three Dolphins first-round picks and was selected with the 30th overall pick after Miami switched from 26, picking up a fourth-round pick from the Green Bay Packers for their problems.

Igbinoghene was one of the top acquisitions in the high school this offseason, along with the free agent signing of former Dallas Cowboys Pro Bowl team Byron Jones. Igbinoghene figures to compete for the starting nickel corner position.

The Dolphins began signing their draft picks on May 6 when they struck a deal with fourth-round pick Solomon Kindley, the Georgia guard.

Fifth-round pick Jason Strowbridge followed on May 7; Tua Tagovailoa, Raekwon Davis, Curtis Weaver and Blake Ferguson on May 12; Brandon Jones on May 13; Malcolm Perry on June 3; and the other first-round pick, Austin Jackson, on June 11.
