It is about a driver of a bus from the provisional scheme who, after an altercation with a SITP transporter, would have run over him and later escaped from the scene. The 18-year-old young man did not accept the charges brought against him by the Prosecutor’s Office, but the judge in the case decided that he must comply with an assurance measure in a prison.

On the night of December 28, an incident was reported in which a driver of the Integrated Transportation System (SITP) was killed. According to the investigations, everything arose after a claim that the driver of the blue bus made to an 18-year-old young man who was at the wheel of a provisional service bus for having hit one of the car’s mirrors. The young man apparently did not respond and fled the scene.

Blocks later, the affected transporter reached the temporary service bus and stopped in front of it to prevent the young man from fleeing. However, on the contrary, the young man accelerated and rammed the driver for more than 100 meters from the place.

“The alleged murderer decides to attack the driver who was standing in front of his bus and drag him until the bus crashes against a bollard. At that moment the motor of the car was turned off so the man tried to escape on foot, but was captured by the Surveillance Police, ”said José Manuel Martínez, director of the Bogotá section of the Attorney General’s Office.

Several citizens, along with some members of the Police, prevented the attempted escape of the person involved, who was handed over for further investigation. The first theories pointed out that the perpetrator of the crime was a pirate transport driver; However, it was later clarified that the illegality of the arrested person corresponds to the absence of documents of the vehicle he was driving, since his driving license was not suitable for this type of vehicle.
