The screams were joined by the barking of a dog, who, according to relatives of the deceased, had been adopted by Ladlow long ago.

On Friday morning the police revealed the scene: she had been killed in her sleep due to a dog attack.

“No one else was on the property at the time and the woman’s family has turned over the dog, which is believed to be a Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross,” the police report said.

The animal, before the outcome of the events, will be euthanized by the authorities.

In the details of the case it was learned that Ladlow had seen the dog on many occasions. The animal walked often through a garden until the young woman decided to take it home.

Despite this, the investigation continues.
