The victim dared to tell her story despite the fear that this generates, because she said, in CM & Noticias, that she lives practically hidden in a house because the man constantly persecutes and harasses her.
“Suddenly he imagines that I am here, but he really does not know that I am living here. His threats are always that he is going to kill me, or that he is going to send me acid in my face, ”he denounced.
The woman fears that these threats will come true because her ex-partner harasses her, and showed a video in which, according to her, the man approached the house to break the windows.
The newscast detailed that the victim of violence was assaulted “physically and sexually”, that he had to separate and that he continues to receive intimidation although he has a protection measure.
The complaint of this woman, who was not identified to protect her, is a reflection of the almost 1,000 cases of women who are at risk of a femicide in the capital of the country, according to data from Legal Medicine.
That is why this November 25 was celebrated the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and Legal Medicine joined with a message in which it invites to prevent and denounce abuse.
The entity recalled that these cases of violence can be reported on lines 155 or 123, and in Bogotá at 018000112137.
