Although the death toll from Covid-19 is high, the number of those infected has decreased considerably, again there are less than 100 infected in a day. For this Monday, December 7, Quindío adds 89 cases of coronavirus and 7 deaths from the disease.
This was made known through the epidemiological bulletin of the departmental health secretariat, which reported the deaths in: Armenia -3-, Calarcá -1-, Montenegro -1-, Quimbaya -1- and La Tebaida -1-. The infections were registered in Armenia -76-, Calarcá -5-, Montenegro -3-, Circasia -2-, Quimbaya -2- and Pijao -1-. With these data, the region reaches 19,163 confirmed cases, 15,942 recovered and 495 deaths.
In Colombia there are 5,997 confirmed cases, -significant decrease compared to the total of1 the last days-, according to the report of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, located in districts and departments such as: Bogotá with 1,776, Antioquia with 750, Valle del Cauca with 721, Tolima with 326, Norte de Santander with 293, Cundinamarca with 258, Santander with 246, Risaralda with 215, Nariño with 155, Cartagena with 147, Boyacá with 128, Meta with 123, Caldas with 118 and Barranquilla with 83.
The number of deaths associated with the virus was 187. To date, Colombia has 1,377,100 confirmed cases, 1,267,595 recovered, 68,248 active carriers and 37,995 deaths. In the world there are 66,872,117 confirmed patients with the disease, 43,280,735 recovered and 1,536,855 deaths.
