According to the report revealed in the latest epidemiological bulletin from the departmental Health Secretariat, there are also 164 new infections in 9 municipalities.

The 8 deaths by Covid-19 confirmed this Monday, December 21, were presented in: Armenia with 5 and Calarcá with 3. These are 2 women between 56 and 79 years old and 6 men between 47 and 75 years old. The infections are located in: Armenia with 126, Calarcá with 13, Montenegro with 8, La Tebaida with 4, Circasia with 3, Pijao with 3, Quimbaya with 3, Filandia with 2 and Genoa with 2.

With the new figures, there are already 22,307 total cases reported in Quindío, 18,216 recovered and 587 people who died from the pandemic. The Quindian capital continues to be the most affected by infections and deaths related to the virus, accounting for 2,514 active cases, 12,413 recovered and 388 deaths.

In the country, according to the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, there are 10,845 new cases today, in districts and departments such as: Antioquia with 2011, Bogotá with 1,217, Valle del Cauca with 860, Tolima with 851, Norte de Santander with 700, Risaralda with 605, Cundinamarca with 576, Cartagena with 511, Santander with 493, Caldas with 396, Barranquilla with 382, ​​Atlántico with 307, Nariño with 307, Boyacá with 247, Meta with 226, Huila with 186, Caquetá with 130, Santa Marta with 110 and Guajira with 103.

The number of deaths in Colombia in the last 24 hours due to causes associated with the virus is 205. To date, Colombia has reached 1,518,067 people confirmed with the virus, 1,382,340 recovered patients and 40,680 deaths. In the world there are already 77,188,346 infected, 43,522,242 recovered and 1,699,085 deaths.
