With 43 new diagnoses, Covid-19 cases in the Valley increase to 1,057

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection reported this Saturday 43 new cases of coronavirus in Valle del Cauca, bringing the total number of infected in the department to 1057.

The report also reports 10 deaths, one of them in the department, which corresponds to a 90-year-old man who did not register pre-existing diseases and whose death occurred in the municipality of Florida.

The other deaths occurred in Leticia, Bogotá, Barranquilla, Villavicencio, Granada (Antioquia) and the municipalities of Ocaña and San Cayetano in Norte de Santander.

In addition to the 43 new diagnoses in the Valley, Minsalud reported in Bogotá (73), Barranquilla (33), Amazonas (31), Cartagena (25), Atlántico (18), Norte de Santander (11), Caldas (11), Santa Marta (7), Risaralda (5), Meta (4), Magdalena (3), Nariño (3), Cesar (3), Chocó (2), Antioquia (2), Cundinamarca (2), Boyacá (1) , Bolívar (1) and Tolima (1).

With the 279 new cases, the number of infected in Colombia increased to 7285, while the number recovered is already 1666 and the deaths are 324. 5652 tests were processed this Saturday.

Globally, the coronavirus already leaves 3,307,600 infected, 238,431 deceased and 1,069,264 recovered.
