However, there was congressmen of the Democratic Center party, movement led by former President Álvaro Uribe Vélez, such as Representative Margarita Restrepo and Senator Santiago Valencia, who they pointed to the indigenous minga for the phrase in question.
“It is absolutely clear to us what the purpose of the minga is”, Restrepo wrote on his social networks, while Valencia consigned next to the photo of the message: “The minga that is not politicized or infiltrated. The minga ‘for life and for peace’. Do me a favor ”.

The indigenous minga arrived in the Colombian capital with the aim of marching towards the Plaza de Bolívar and meeting with the National Government to discuss issues related to the “Respect for life, territory, peace and democracy”, according to their motto.
