The El Dorado airport in Bogotá continues its reactivation process, with the restart of the operation of international commercial flights starting this week, for which it is working in coordination with the airlines and with the authorities involved in the work.

The tests that will be carried out at the Covid-19 Test Center are:
Covid-19 PCR: 24 hours
Covid-19 POCT Molecular Isothermal PCR: 2 hours
Rapid antigen: 2 hours
IgG antibodies: 2 hours

General requirements

The success of this reactivation of the airport also depends on self-care and compliance with the regulations issued by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Transport, which is why they recommend all travelers to verify and comply with the applicable protocols before their trip.

International flights

The routes approved by the National Government in this first stage are the United States, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Brazil, Ecuador, Bolivia and Guatemala. The evaluation of other routes is expected, according to the operating capacity of the airports, the opening of other countries, the commercial interest of the airlines and the demand for passengers.

– Verify the requirements demanded by the destination cities, such as the case of San Andrés or Leticia, whose travelers must present the negative result and no more than 48 hours prior to the trip of an antigen test.
