For a few weeks, the former leftist presidential candidate Gustavo Petro and Senator Gustavo Bolívar have been doing an exercise on Twitter that has attracted attention: They write columns and publish them on Sundays, and that same day, at night, they debate them.
Although no one has confirmed that this is the intention so far, the exercise of the congressmen has been seen by some observers as another step on the probable path to the Presidency in 2022 that Petro would be traveling.

The idea is that on Sunday mornings opinion columns are published on different topics in a digital media called Cuarto de Hora, which are promoted by Petro and Bolívar on their Twitter accounts.
And in the night the exercise is transferred to Facebook, where the two congressmen, with the company of a moderator, they discuss the topics they have posted in their columns.

In the writings that are later debated, the two congressmen address issues of economy, security, climate change and the government of President Iván Duque, among others.
For many, These Petro columns would be the first boils of his platform towards the Presidency in 2022; but, for others, it is simply a political exercise that seeks to comment on the facts of national life.
