How to register for the ‘Sisbén’ for pets?

To enroll in the program, the mayor told the radio station that families must present “a photocopy of the Sisbén de Pereira, a photocopy of the utility bill dated no more than two months and a photocopy of the citizenship card.”

According to the same medium, registrations must be made in the corregidurías and in the Police inspections, between this Thursday, October 15 and next November 30.

El Tiempo pointed out that the vulnerable population that does not have Sisbén can also access the service; In this case, the person must bring a photocopy of the identity card and a letter identifying you as displaced or as part of an ethnic minority.

According to Semana, this benefit will also be for dogs and cats that live on the street. For them, according to the magazine, the person requesting help for one of these animals will have to “present a letter of request issued by a corregidor or Police inspector.
