The Metro will modify its hours of operation this Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31 to adjust to the curfew measures and the dry law for life decreed by the Government of Antioquia and the Mayor’s Office of Medellín in order to reduce contagion by covid-19.

In order to adjust to demand, on Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31, the network will provide service from 4:30 am to 10:30 pm
This measure includes Metro lines A and B, the Ayacucho tram, lines 1, 2 and O of the metroplús and the metrocables (except Arví).
On Sunday 1 and Monday 2 November, the metro network will provide service in its usual hours on Sundays and holidays, that is, until 10:00 pm
The company reminded its users that it is necessary to take extreme care measures not only in the metro network but in all areas of the city to avoid the spread of the virus.

Hence the importance of the permanent use of the mask, hand hygiene – for this gel dispensers and portable sinks have been arranged in the stations -, physical distancing and traveling in silence in trains, trams, cable cars and buses.
Maintenance of Metrocables
This festive bridge coincides with the major maintenance of some metrocable lines that will be out of service.

– Line M: does not provide service until Sunday, November 1. It will resume its service on Monday, November 2.
– Line J: will suspend its service from Saturday, October 31 to Sunday, November 8. It will operate again on Monday, November 9.
– Line H: It is out of service until Friday, October 30. It will resume its operation on Saturday the 31st.
