The authorities were tracking one of the criminals who would be part of this network since last March, after two foreign citizens were drugged and robbed amid the insecurity in Bogotá.

The investigation revealed that on Sunday night, November 15, “aliases ‘Hellen’ and ‘Harry Potter’ would have approached a woman and two men in a bar in Bogotá”, and that after gaining their trust they took advantage of an oversight to provide them with the drug, which acts rapidly on the central nervous system.
The Prosecutor’s Office found that the 3 victims were taken from the bar and put into a private vehicle, which would be owned by alias ‘Sobrino’, in which “They toured the city while they snatched cell phones, money and other items of value.”
Once they committed the robbery, they left their victims abandoned in various parts of the capital, as they were “at a high level of unconsciousness.”
“The 33-year-old woman who was a victim died. Legal Medicine ruled that he died from cerebral hypoxia (lack of oxygen in the brain) as a result of the medicine that was supplied to him in the drink, ”the accusing body explained.

The sectional director of the Prosecutor’s Office in Bogotá, José Manuel Martínez, said that the people captured for these events are: Jefferson Arango Castellanos, aka ‘Harry Potter’; Kenny Juliet Uribe, also known as ‘Hellen’, and Himmer Darley Aguirre Muñoz, aka ‘nephew’.
The three were charged with crimes of aggravated extortionate kidnapping, aggravated homicide, and aggravated and qualified robbery, and although they did not accept charges, a judge of guarantees ordered them to be sent to prison.
