Ecuador defeated Uruguay 4-2 on date 2 of the 2022 World Cup qualifier in Qatar. The Ecuadorian team opened the scoring with a score by Caicedo, 15 minutes into the game.
The second goal was from Michael Estrada, at the end of the first half.

Uruguay discounted just starting the second half, at 3 minutes, but the goal was annulled by hand, after a review in the VAR.
Ecuador immediately put the third, with a shot from Estrada. Later came the fourth, Silver.
Uruguay achieved the penalty discount, with a perfect collection by Luis Suárez.
Uruguay found the second, once again from a penalty, with another great charge from Suárez for the final 4-2.
