In the last hours, a recording that shows the clash between the senator of the Democratic Center, María Fernanda Cabal, and some citizens who were in the El Codito neighborhood, in Bogotá, has gone viral on social networks.

The discussion took place, according to the congresswoman, while an event was being held to deliver one of the CAIs that was affected in the town of Usaquén during the protests carried out last week against police brutality and the murder of Javier Ordóñez.

In the recording it is heard that a man, before Cabal and the uniformed men, makes a claim: “We are clear that in these years you have not worked on behalf of the youth of the town. We are celebrating, but there were three dead youths below and more. of five gunshot wounded, “he says.

It then goes on to ensure that: “We are celebrating a bit of things and injustices that have gone through the police, but they are not going to sit at the table.”

While the citizen was pronouncing those words, Cabal is observed paying attention, but at one point he interrupts him and says: “Are you an official of the Mayor’s Office?” To which he replies no.

Immediately begins the shouting match between the senator and the citizens. Cabal, who takes off his mask to speak, tells them that “that’s not the way to thank you for your work.”

In the midst of verbal aggression, one of the men who was at the site tried to mediate the situation to calm the citizens and the congresswoman. The shock did not happen to majors.
