It all started with the visit made by President Iván Duque and which ended with several announcements of measures to reinforce the security of Quibdó and several towns in Chocó due to the delicate situation of public order.
This, after the weekend that passed some pamphlets were known that warned its inhabitants that there would be a curfew between Friday, October 16 and Tuesday, 20, and that if someone violated it, they would be declared a military objective; Several young people were even shot for allegedly failing to comply with the order of the self-styled ‘Mexican Armed Forces’, a group that signed the threat and filled the Chocoanos with terror.
For this reason, as is customary when the head of state travels to the regions, a comprehensive device is available to guarantee his safety and that all meetings are held.
That included several soldiers and one of them was upset because, he said, they made him stay up unnecessarily late. His discontent was expressed in a video in which only his voice is heard while he shows several of his colleagues walking when the president’s visit ended.. There, he expressed:
“Here seeing that the president makes you stay up late when he gives the fuck you win. Just for coming to take a walk around the boardwalk and go back to Bogotá in less than 10 minutes; he made us stay up all night and be on our feet since five in the afternoon and see, this is not fair ”.
This can be seen in the recording, which went viral this Wednesday:

Precisely because of the popularity that the video acquired, hours after Duque promised more uniforms for Chocó, the increase in the reward for the leaders of that criminal group that calls itself the ‘Mexican Armed Forces’ and that has terrified the department, and even a “public order bonus”, the Army reacted.
Also on Twitter, the institution said that those claims of the soldier did not represent the general feeling of all the military in the area:
Faced with a video that circulates on social networks, where a uniformed man who is doing his military service makes inappropriate comments, it is important to clarify that what is expressed there does not correspond to the feelings of the troops deployed in the department of #Choco.

In addition, the Army denied that Duque’s visit was so short because he even spent Monday night at the facilities of the 15th Brigade and that the troops accompanied him in various events:
The next morning, the supreme commander of the @MilColForces He greeted and thanked the work of each of the soldiers deployed in this department. The visit ended with a security meeting at the facilities of the military unit. pic.twitter.com/ofE6xB4hOM
