[Video] Impressive cyclist fall from a bridge, in Chía

The video shows a cyclist crossing from the right to the left side of the bridge and continuing on the left road, near the railing, when a white van attacks him from behind, lifts him and throws him off the bridge, onto the road that passes under.

After being run over, the driver makes a slight maneuver to the right and continues on his way, as if nothing had happened, while the cyclist is seen immobile, on the road below, after a fall of at least 8 meters .

On the road that passes under the bridge, you can see how drivers stop, before the impressive image of a man who has just fallen, an event that would have happened last Friday.

This is the video posted on networks and captured by a security camera on the bridge. Because it is an explicit image, we ask for discretion:

Former Colombian cyclist and now ESPN commentator Víctor Hugo Peña repudiated the event with a trill that includes another video, with a camera a little further away but at the same angle as the first one that recorded the event, and notes that the truck driver “Flew away.”

The incredible thing about this case is that several of the users of the social network in a certain way justified the incident by claiming that a cyclist should always ride on the right, not on the left, comments that were rejected by other users, who said that no matter where a cyclist travels, that does not give a driver the right to hit him just because.

And this trill refutes that position to those who claim that it was the cyclist’s fault:

This was the crash site on the map:

Unfortunately, in Bogotá and on the roads of Colombia, cases like this tend to be frequent, such as that of a cyclist who was hit by an SUV on the San Gil-Curití road, in Santander, in August of this year.

“Let’s take care of the cyclists, let’s take care of the cyclists, let’s take care of the cyclists. There are more and more people doing this sport, you have to be much more attentive. This happened two days ago on the bridge near the Marroquín castle, it didn’t even stop. Let’s take care of cyclists ”, denounces Twitter user @JuanAbelG.
