The incident took place a few seconds after the end of the Eucharist, just when the priest was in the adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
A video published by the journalist Segovia Bastidas shows the moment in which the woman approached the priest and attacked him with force in the face while shouting: “Who am I?”
Apparently, the woman had a nervous breakdown, so she was treated immediately by the people who were present at the Cathedral of San Cristóbal.
Later, it was learned that this person was days before confined in the Negra Hipólita mission of the Córdoba municipality. He was wandering the streets in an aggressive attitude, as seen in another video published by Bastidas.
“It is not an isolated event, but it is regrettable. We must be very careful because just as it happened to me, it can happen to another. I’m fine thank God it was just the scare, the blow”Father Lucio said according to the La Nación Web medium.
