Vehicle theft: Woman bought a 120 million truck and it was stolen two days later – Bogotá

A working woman invested all her savings to buy a vehicle worth 120 million pesos, but her happiness only lasted two days after she took it out of the dealership.

Criminals who camouflaged themselves with household clothes and armed with revolvers stole it on the night of this Tuesday minutes after they will drop it off at home and your trusted friend will take it away to keep.

His acquaintance was the one intercepted by the thieves. In the midst of consternation and despair, the woman and her family went to the Police who deployed a search operation in the north of the city giving a positive result within a few hours in the town of Engativá.

Thanks to information from the community and the GPS system, the authorities located the car in the basement of a residential complex in the Florencia neighborhood of Engativá.

Faced with the strong Operative deployed and the pressure of the uniformed officers, the vigilantes of the group had no choice but to allow them to enter the parking lot where the criminals had kept the car.

Already at the scene, the authorities were able to confirm that it was indeed the stolen vehicle, they recovered it and handed it over to its owner.

As reported by the Police, the investigation is now being referred to the Judicial Police and the Prosecutor’s Office to locate the people who entered the vehicle last night to the parking lot and those who are presumed to be inhabitants of the same residential complex.
