Valley exceeds 75 thousand cases of covid-19, 1107 were reported this Tuesday

In Valle del Cauca, 1107 new cases and 18 deaths from covid-19 were registered this Tuesday, according to the most recent report from the Ministry of Health.

With this report, the department reached 75,172 infected people. In addition, it already has 2604 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic.

Regarding the new deaths, the authorities indicated that these occurred in Cali (11), Tuluá (4), Cartago, (1), Buga (1) and El Cerrito (1).

Regarding national figures, Minsalud pointed out that today there were 8,256 new cases, which bring the general balance to 974,139 infections, of which 65,928 are active.

Regarding the deaths, 170 were registered this Tuesday, but they clarify that 145 belong to previous days. Thus, since the arrival of the virus in the country, 29,272 deaths from the new coronavirus have been confirmed.

It should be noted that according to the epidemiological bulletin, 49,781 tests were processed this day: 25,323 PCR and 24,458 antigens.

Finally, the Ministry of Health details that the number of people recovered in Colombia is already 876,731.

In the world, 40,472,505 positive cases and 1,119,283 deaths have been confirmed by covid-19.
