In these days when the country is mobilized by police brutality, a video was released in which a uniformed man is seen reacting violently to the aggression of a citizen who was detained on a Valledupar road.

In the recording, the inhabitant of the capital of Cesar is observed very annoyed, after being arrested by the police. When the man got out of his truck, in the company of a woman, he began to argue with the patrolman until he pushed him and hit his helmet he was wearing.
Before the action of the civilian, the officer reacted, took off the case and punched the man, who was left lying on the ground before the strong blow he received in his face. The event was rejected by some and celebrated by others who witnessed the confrontation.

As it was known, the confrontation occurred last weekend, when the maxillofacial surgeon, Hernando Osorio, collided his truck with another vehicle, on 12th Street with 11th Street, in a central area of the capital of Cesar. Without being reported injured.
Apparently, Osorio, tried to evade responsibility during the traffic procedure, disregarding the police order.

The Commander of the Cesar Police Department, Colonel Jesús Manuel de los Reyes Valencia, assured that the event arose during the care of a traffic accident in which two vehicles were involved, presenting a disturbance of order, for which the quadrant patrol was present.
“One of the citizens involved in the accident tried to leave the place to evade the traffic procedure, disregarding the order of the Police. One of the uniformed men receives verbal and physical attacks by the referenced citizen, who was in an apparent state of distress “, assured the colonel.

He also stressed that the police officer was assessed at the Santa Isabel Clinic, presenting a report of a 10-centimeter injury that affects the epidermis.
The procedure was resolved in a Police inspection through a conciliation of the parties.
Finally, the colonel called on the public to be respectful and avoid this type of confrontation in police procedures.
