Valle registers 24 new deaths from covid-19, of which 15 are from Cali

In Valle del Cauca, 24 new deaths were registered from diseases associated with covid-19. With this Sunday’s report, the death toll in the department reached 3,631.

The deceased were reported from Cali (15), Tuluá (4) and one by one in Palmira, Yumbo, Buenaventura, Cartago and San Pedro.

With regard to infections, Minsalud confirmed that there are 738 new cases in the region, which brings the general balance to 113,414 positives of the new coronavirus.

According to the INS report, Colombia registered 9,642 new cases of covid-19, raising the total number to 1,362,249.

It should be noted that of these cases, 72,652 are active, while 1,257,410 overcame the virus.

With regard to deaths, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection reported that there were 175, so that there are already 37,808 deaths in the country due to the disease.

Worldwide, 66,369,433 people have been infected with covid-19, according to the WHO.
